  I ask you on behalf of my children and I (we are US citizens & would like to exercise our rights as citizens to also have our family together) for this to pass so my husband can come back home. If you have children I ask you to please put youself in our place & imagine being seperated from yours spouse & your children from their father. My 5 yr old daughter cries for her father & doesnt undersatnd why theres pictures of him at our home & now he’s not here. & why she cant wake up to her dad every day. Video calls no longer do it for her, she wants her dad here everyday. How do you explain that to a 5 yr old. My 15 yr old needs his father to guide him, to teach him how to become a man. In a society where fathers are abcent by choice my husband wants to be here for his children & cant because of this law. We understand he broke a law but I think 10 yrs away from his family is harsh. Especially for my children who have no fault & are citizens. Where are our rights??
